Battery saver mode

Automatic smart Wi-Fi detection

To save battery, location updates pause when the device is at home on Wi-Fi and resume automatically when out of range.The device is blinking with a blue light, when mode is ON.

When your tracker's charging, it'll peek around for your home Wi-Fi. Once it knows the Wi-Fi, it'll automatically snooze when your pet's at home, pausing location updates and alerts. As soon as your pet's out of range, it wakes up and starts tracking again.

Totally Automatic.
Battery Saver Mode is super smart. It stops automatically when the tracker leaves your home Wi-Fi or starts charging. If you need to stop it sooner - just plug it in.

By default when tracker added it works in Battery saver mode to extend the tracker's battery life. You can always control this mode yourself if needed in tracker's settings.

Turn ON/OFF Battery saver mode

To turn ON or OFF mode on bottom tab tap My Pets icon.

Tap on the tracker you want to switch mode.

Tap on the arrow icon in current device status.

Turn ON/OFF toggle next to Battery saver mode.

Turning ON.

After turning on the mode, let your tracker charge. It'll be on the lookout for your Wi-Fi connection for 5 minutes during charging. If it spots the same Wi-Fi twice - it remembers it for the Battery saver mode.

Now, alerts and location updates will stop and save battery whenever your pet's device within range of your usual Wi-Fi. When they leave the Wi-Fi area, everything's back to normal.

When Battery saver mode is on icon ⚡️is on the tracker pin. Also you can see what type of connection the tracker is currently using thanks to the icon next to last update time at the top of tracker pin.

Turning OFF.

Please note that Battery saver mode automatically turns off when the device is out of home Wi-Fi network range or in charge. To disable it instantly, simply connect the device to the charger.

To turn off Battery saver mode manually, you need to wake up your pet's device. Press and hold the power button for about 4 seconds, until you see a quick flash of green light.
